The memorial was unveiled on Sunday 26 June 1921 by Field Marshall Lord Methuen G.C.B. and dedicated by the Lord Bishop of Coventry, Huyshe Wolcott Yeatman-Biggs.

* Cpl W.W. Timms was added to the 1914 Panel of the Memorial in November 2022 which was after our visit.

The memorial was designed by Sir Charles Nicholson, Bart., the stonework was carried out by Mr. David French and the construction was supervised by Mr. Charles Hope of Berkswell
