| 29 January 1887 The crime was reported in the Northampton Mercury Saturday 29 January 1887 p.7 col.5: Edgar Haddon [surname spelled thus], 14, Kempston, was charged with stealing two live fowls, value 5s., the property of Joseph Robinson, Kempston, on Jan. 19, and also with stealing two fowls, value 6s., the property of John Cocking, at Kempston, on the same day. - The prisoner, who admitted stealing them with another lad named Langley was sentenced to a month's imprisonment, and four years in a Reformatory. | |
