| 25 January 1868 There is a very brief report of the crime in the Staffordshire Advertiser Saturday 25 January 1868 p.5 col.3: Henry Rowley was sentenced to be imprisoned three months and afterwards sent to a Reformatory for five years for stealing bacon from a stall in the market on Saturday night. |
