Hubert is listed as being killed in action on 10 Aug 1917. The 11th Battalion War diary entries for the period 9th to 11th August are transcribed below.

Front Lines near Kemmel - 9/8/1917: Movement was impossible in the front line by day. At night considerable work was done in wiring outposts, improving and linking up positions & salvage work.

Front Lines near Kemmel - 10/8/1917: Enemy snipers and machine guns active in the front line neighbourhood. Back areas were heavily shelled, chiefly at 8-10pm and 1-3am. Battalion HQ was shelled by H.E. intermittently during the evening & a large number of gas shells were put down.

Counter measures were taken against enemy snipers and a number of hits were claimed.  A Joint Post was formed with the 47th Australian Battalion on our right.

Front Lines near Kemmel - 11/8/1917: Brigadier General MacLachlan was killed near our right Company HQ while making a tour of inspection round the outpost line. Improvements were made in the outposts & support trenches & fire positions.

Night - 11-12/8/17: Battn Changed over with 10th Loyal North Lancs and became Battalion in support of right sub-sector. During the relief a heavy barrage was put down by the enemy between the front & support lines. A direct hit was obtained on D Coy HQ.

John is listed as being killed in action on 22 Aug 1918. Unfortunately the August 1918 section of the Battalion war diary is missing, the following is taken from Wikipedia and Google AI.

Battle of Albert 22–23 August – The division joined the Allied counter-offensive in this battle. 141 Brigade began their advance at 04.45, and gained their objective with little resistance, but in the morning mist and battle smoke the battalions began to consolidate a little short of the intended line; the follow-up units suffered heavily. The 1st London Irish Rifles supported the 141st Brigade, with the 19th London Regiment on the left and the 20th London Regiment on the right. George died of Enteric fever (Typhoid) on the 17th October 1916 at the 21st General Hospital in Alexandria, Eygpt. The following obituary appeared in the Stratford Herald on 27th October 1916.

DIED OF FEVER - PRIVATE G. KNIGHT

Mrs. Ryman of Victoria Cottage, Shipston Road is notified by the Record Office of the Royal Warwickshire Regiment that her brother succumbed to enteric fever at the 21st General Hospital, Alexandria on 17th inst. Private Knight who was 36 years of age enlisted on the 9th November 1915 and sailed for India on the 25th
April, being subsequently transferred to Egypt. He had been in hospital at Alexandria since July 7th.

George is listed as being killed in action on 8th October 1915. The very brief 1st/7th Battalion war diary entry for that day is transcribed below and reveals that George was killed by shellfire.

Foncquevillers - 08 Oct 1915: Another fine day. Battalion relieved 1/8 R War R in Foncquevillers trenches. Relief complete at 3.15pm. Enemy fired 9 200? Minenwerfer between 9 and 9.30pm on position in front end trench killing 4 and wounding 5 men. Killed: L/Cpl Warner, Pte's Mence, Wright and Birtwhistle. Wounded: Pte's Clarue, Lewis, Brady, Osborne & Nicholls. No other damage done.
